Harbor View’s Carolyn Mathis Recognized as 2019 Top U.S.A Woman Dealmaker by the Global M&A Network

We are delighted to announce one of our partners, Carolyn Mathis, has been nominated as a Top U.S.A. Woman Dealmaker for 2019. The Global M&A Network honors the A-List of the most talented, respected and brilliant women dealmakers from the private equity, lending and M&A investment banking communities in the United States. The Top U.S.A Women Dealmakers selection is a recognition based upon unique expertise, deal execution record, prominence and influence among clients, colleagues, peers, and the industry.

Carolyn Mathis is the CEO, Co-Founder and Partner at Harbor View Advisors.  She in an M&A veteran with more than 25 years of investment banking experience at Harbor View and previously with Goldman Sachs & Co.  Her passion is in helping entrepreneurs realize their corporate goals including consideration of strategic alternatives, and navigating every step of a capitalization or exit process.

Carolyn has established a very successful track record in advising her clients through critically important corporate strategy and capital market decisions. A key to Carolyn’s success is the bringing together of the right mix and fit of decision-makers — including connecting clients with key partners, matchmaking between sellers and buyers, or building on Harbor View’s eco-system of resources.

Prior to founding Harbor View, Carolyn worked in the investment banking and equities divisions of Goldman Sachs, as well as at Donaldson, Lufkin and Jenrette. Carolyn received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Dickinson College and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Accounting and Finance from the University of Chicago.
