Ponte Vedra, FL – January 2021 – Harbor View Advisors is proud to announce that Douglas D. Moffitt has joined the leadership team as a Managing Director. In his role at Harbor View, Doug will build an advisory practice focused on serving the Financial Services market and brings nearly 35 years of Asset & Wealth Management, Family Office and Wall Street experience.

Prior to joining Harbor View, Doug served as Chief Advisory and Development Officer at Savant Wealth Management, an $8.5B RIA. In his role, Doug had oversight responsibility for the Advisory & Retirement Plan Services teams. Prior to Savant, Doug served as a Managing Director, Market Investment Executive, and a Member of the Metro New York Leadership team at US Trust, where he had oversight responsibility for the High-Net-Worth portfolio management team, managing $30+ Billion on a fiduciary platform. Doug also previously worked for Goldman Sachs as a Managing Director, Head of New York Institutional Equity Sales, and at Credit Suisse First Boston (CSFB) as a Director and Co-Manager of Chicago Institutional Equities Business.
Doug received a Bachelor of Science degree from Northwestern University, and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Marketing and Finance from Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University. He currently holds his Series 65 license.
In addition to his professional accomplishments, Doug previously served as Chairman of the Board and as the Strategic Planning Chairman for the Stanwich School in Greenwich, CT. Outside of Harbor View, he enjoys visiting his three sons with his wife, playing golf, and rooting for the Northwestern Wildcats!
