THE SITUATION:
Popular local restaurant did not have accurate financial information or financial controls in place. Reconciling the daily sales to the bank account was not being handled properly, causing poor cash flow visibility and risk of employee theft and fraud. In addition, the Point of Sale (POS) and payroll systems were antiquated and resulted in an onerous amount of manual data entry into the financial system.
