JUNE 21, 2023, TRENTON, NJ – TerraCycle US Inc., a leader in recycling innovation and sustainability, acquired Massachusetts-based Complete Recycling Solutions (CRS), a leader in universal waste recycling that provides solutions for mercury-containing fluorescent bulbs, batteries, ballasts, and electronic waste disposal.

Established in 2002, Complete Recycling Solutions specializes in the recycling of lighting and electronic waste, including all mercury-bearing lamps, electronics, cathode ray tubes (CRTs), mercury devices, batteries, polychlorinated biphenyl (PCB) and non-PCB lighting ballasts. With over 50 years of combined industry experience among their staff, they have earned the Responsible Recycling Standard for Electronics Recyclers certification from the EPA (R2 Certification), as well as state of the art lamp recycling and mercury distillation equipment that automatically disassembles various lamp types into their basic components and allows them to be re-used in the marketplace.
