Jonathan D. Hollis

Director

Jonathan Hollis is a Director at Harbor View Advisors. His sector expertise includes IT Services and Enterprise Software Consulting, as well as Business-to-Business Services more broadly. A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away, Jon was a minor league baseball player (and state champion at The Bolles School) – and then continued avoiding real work with a stint as a freelance pop culture writer, composing several listicles that you probably read while not paying attention on conference calls.

As a former professional athlete, Jon brings a fierce determination and drive to the Harbor View team that has translated into multiple client successes. He began his career as an M&A generalist at Morgan Stanley in New York City, primarily covering Energy, Technology, and Media. Jon received his undergraduate degree from Yale University and his MBA in Corporate Finance from UNC-Chapel Hill. He holds both his Series 63 and Series 79.

Outside of the office, Jon remains a sports enthusiast – he is a perpetually-injured-but-serviceable recreational basketball player, an ardent supporter of his college and professional teams (including beloved team of destiny, the Jacksonville Jaguars), and occasionally serves as a youth baseball coach. Jon now channels his creative energies into music (listening, as well as playing guitar, bass, and drums) and getting way too excited when marquee movies are released in Premium Large Format. He also enjoys food and spending time with his family.
